Luke Whalen

Luke Whalen is an Asset Manager at The Menkiti Group, where he leads asset performance strategies and supports long-term value creation across our diverse portfolio.

He began his career at Burke & Herbert Bank as a Commercial Real Estate and Special Asset Underwriter, building a foundation in credit analysis and deal structuring. Luke then joined a boutique real estate private equity firm specializing in industrial covered land investments, where he advanced into asset and property management. His experience also includes commercial brokerage with a focus on tenant representation and investment sales.

Luke earned his B.S. in Real Estate and Finance from Virginia Tech, where he developed his passion for community-focused development and investment. Drawing on his broad background in underwriting, asset management, and transactions, he brings a well-rounded perspective to real estate investment and management.
