The Singer Building | 3300-3310 Rhode Island Ave (Mt. Rainier, MD)

The Menkiti Group was awarded development rights from the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County to preserve and restore the existing building envelope and ultimately program the space with a vibrant mix of commercial uses with 11 residential units above.

The project includes 10,000 SF of street level retail consisting of a restaurant, wine bar, and yoga studio. It also features many sustainable design features including restored facades, a 30 kW rooftop solar array, and LID streetscape improvements.

The Singer Flats are comprised of 11 studio, one, and two- bedroom apartments restored from the original 1936 building structure that was a former Singer Sewing Machine retail store. The units have modern features, including granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
