Project Description
The Ilora is an affordable luxury condominium building located in Washington D.C. Positioned near the Rhode Island Avenue Metro Station, it offers close proximity to shopping centers, essential amenities, and nearby educational institutions.
The property features units characterized by upscale finishes, such as meticulously refinished hardwood flooring, modernized bathrooms and kitchens, elegant crown molding, and equipped with wireless internet access.
100% of the condos were sold upon completion. Originally acquired as a vacant former apartment building for $1.9MM, the building was refreshed and converted into condominium units that were sold for an aggregate sales price of nearly $5MM (35% Return on Cost). All of the units were priced as workforce housing units (under 120% of Area Median Income), and 66% of the units were affordable to low-income households (under 60% of AMI).
