Girard Street Senior Apartments | 1545 Girard St NE

The Menkiti Group co-developed the Girard Street Senior Apartments, a 25-unit multi-family residential project, with Dantes Partners. The project was awarded Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the DC Department of Housing and Community Development and is designed specifically for seniors age 55 and over, earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income.

The development features ten (10) Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) units and also incorporates Local Rent Supplement Program (LRSP) funds – the District’s version of project-based vouchers – for 100% of the units. Wrap-around services for residents in the ten PSH units are provided by Miriam’s Kitchen.
