Co-development of an $11MM 25-unit multifamily LIHTC project in 2016 with Dantes Partners
Project Description
The Menkiti Group co- developed the Girard Street Senior Apartments, a 25 unit multi-family residential project, with Dantes Partners. The project was awarded 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the DC Department of Housing and Community Development and was designed specifically for seniors age 55 and over earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income.
The development features ten (10) Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) units and also incorporates Local Rent Supplement Program (LRSP) funds – the District’s version of project-based vouchers – for 100% of the units. Wrap- around services for residents in the ten PSH units are provided by Miriam’s Kitchen.
