Thousands of light-up rods now hang from the Metro underpass on M Street, Northeast.
The first of four planned Art Parks titled “Rain” serves to beautify and brighten the underpass for pedestrians 24 hours a day. The lights pulse in response to traffic and provide pedestrians a safer, more enjoyable experience. Look for the next NoMa Art Park titled “Lightweave”, beginning construction on L Street NE underpass this November!
