Mike Ortiz, the Director of Finance, joined the Menkiti Group in 2006. He is responsible for overseeing financial operations, the human resources function and information technology for the Menkiti group along with the Keller Williams franchise.
Mike's role in the organization is to uphold strong financial management and accountability while managing the organization's budget, providing timely, accurate, and reliable financial information and enhancing internal control. He also ensures that there is financial health within the organization while resources are effectively employed toward the achievement of the corporation's strategic plan.
Mike has a wide variety of financial management experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. His background includes serving as the Financial Operations Manager for a non-profit grassroots organization, a Loan Officer for a financial brokerage, an Accounting Manager for the largest independent fine wine retailer in the country as well a Title Administrator/Accountant for a large automobile brokerage.
Mike is a true Washingtonian who was born and raised in the Washington area. He currently resides in the District and has a vested interest in our local community.
