Jennifer brings an extensive and diverse background in integrated marketing communications to The Menkiti Group in her new role as Director of Corporate Marketing & Communications. As a member of the corporate Operations team, Jennifer works directly with the Vice President & General Counsel and business unit leaders of The Menkiti Group and of Keller Williams Capital Properties, overseeing general marketing strategy, branding and messaging, events, and outreach and engagement.

Prior to joining the team, Jennifer consulted for a variety of clients from across the region in restaurant/hospitality, A/E/C, arts and culture, and professional service sectors. Most recently she was the VP of Marketing and Communications for Washington, DC-based Farmers Restaurant Group/Founding Farmers and related concepts. Prior to that in-house role, Jennifer was the Founder/Principal of JML marketing + communications, an IMC agency that provided expert marketing and branding guidance to high profile food and beverage concepts, real estate and A/E/C groups, professional services firms, and arts and cultural organizations. Her initial A/E/C and development experience came as Director of Marketing for award-winning CORE architecture + design, where she supported business development and proposal wins for notable base building, mixed-use, restaurant, and retail projects.

Jennifer has resided in the greater Washington, D.C. area for more than 20 years, after relocating from Baltimore, where she earned her B.A. in art history and arts management from UMBC. She served as a Board Member and Chairwoman of the Board of Washington Project for the Arts, and remains an avid collector and supporter of regional fine artists. She is currently a member of the adjunct faculty for the Master of Professional Studies Marketing-PR and Corporate Communications program at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, where she teaches Integrated Marketing Communications.
