As a development associate with the Menkiti Group, Devonté focuses primarily on Asset Management of the Company’s commercial and residential portfolio. Devonté is also licensed by Pearson VUE Real Estate Board District of Columbia as a Property Manager. This unique dynamic allows Devonté to relate to entrepreneurs and offer support and advice to new entrepreneurs as they work to achieve their business and community goals.
Devonte was a participant in Hoops Sagrado a Washington, D.C.-based youth leadership and development nonprofit organization that gives youth from the D.C.-area a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a month during the summer in the highlands of Guatemala learning another language and culture, teaching their Mayan indigenous peers basketball skills, developing their sense of self, and gaining a new perspective on life. Devonté holds a Bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University in Business Administration with a concentration in Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Devonté enjoys family time, reading, playing basketball, investing in historical real estate properties, dining at local restaurants in the D.C metro area, and attending the Historic Pilgrim Baptist Church in NE Washington D.C, where he is an active member of the missions ministry.
