Bo Menkiti
Bo Menkiti, the founder and CEO of The Menkiti Group, has been active in Washington, D.C. real estate for over 6 years. Bo has built a team of highly skilled and trained professionals focused around the company’s core values of Knowledge, Teamwork, Community, and Excellence. He has received numerous awards and distinctions including the National Association of Realtors’ prestigious “30 under 30” award.
Bo has a wide array of leadership and strategic management experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Working at both the board and the executive staff levels, Bo has founded, developed and led successful organizations in a number of industries. In addition to his entrepreneurial experience, Bo has experience working with public-private partnerships and with local CDC’s and community organizations around development-related issues. Prior to founding The Menkiti Group, Bo served as the Chief Operating Officer of College Summit, a national non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the college enrollment rate of low-income students. Over a period of three years Bo oversaw the organization’s 400% growth from a local organization into a multi-site national organization, serving over 4,000 students nationwide. Before that Bo served in a number of management consulting positions at the Advisory Board Company, Atlantic Media and Prism Consulting International.
A cum laude graduate of Harvard University, Bo was awarded the Houston and Morland Awards for Public Service and Social Action, as well as the City of Cambridge's Mack Davis Award for the highest service to the Cambridge community. Bo currently serves on the boards of a number of non-profit organizations dedicated to uplifting youth and developing inner city neighborhoods.

Kymber Lovett-Menkiti, Director of Sales, brings a strong background in counseling and youth development to the Menkiti Group Sales Team. Kymber has turned her experience in counseling into a vehicle for assisting clients as they navigate through the home buying process. As the Director of the Menkiti Group sales team Kymber assists clients both in buying and selling properties throughout the DC area. She is experienced in navigating a variety of First time Homebuyer programs including HPAP, Acorn, DC Bond Program, Etc. She is also a lead facilitator in the monthly First Time Home Buyer sessions that are hosted by the Menkiti Group in the community. She is a magna cum laude graduate of James Madison University and also holds Masters Degrees in Social Work and Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College.

Mary Hodges:

Mary Hodges, Marketing and Operations Coordinator, serves as the lead architect of the Menkiti Groups marketing and PR efforts. She oversees the Menkiti Group’s Online, print, and direct mail marketing activities and also serves on the Brookland Main Street’s “Promotions Committee” where she works with local businesses to marketing 12th street as a shopping destination. Before coming to the Menkiti Group, Mary worked as a Marketing Assistant for Geomotion, an internet marketing company in Cambridge, MA. Mary is an honor's graduate of Rice University with a degree in Managerial Studies and Visual Arts.

Virginia Gergoff, Sales Associate, fluent in Spanish and English, Virginia has over 10 years of experience in national and international market analysis, strategic planning, product positioning, marketing and finance. Virginia brings her extensive experience in business, as well as her strong bicultural understanding to the table in her work with Menkiti Group clients. Virginia holds an MBA in International Business from Bentley College in Massachusetts and a BS in Economics from the Catholic University in Venezuela.

Delonte Moore

Delonte Moore, Sales Consultant, as a life-long District resident, Delonte brings a strong knowledge of the DC market to the Menkiti Group Sales Team. Since joining the real estate industry in 2003, Delonte has expanded his market expertise to work with first time buyers, move up buyers and investors in Virginia and Maryland—including the Baltimore area. With his familiarity with first-time home buyer resources and his experience as a real estate investor himself, Delonte is able to educate his clients about the home buying process and the ways in which real estate can help them to achieve their goals.

Martin Weldon, Sales Consultant, brings a strong leadership and public service background to the Menkiti Group Sales Team. For 10 years his strong customer service philosophy and commitment to excellence helped contribute to the success of Georgia Browns, where he served as the General Manager. These key skills have been critical to his achievements in the real estate field. His attention to detail and knowledge of the DC area enable him to seamlessly manage the complexity of the real estate transaction with ease, allowing his clients to have a great home buying experience.

Cyril Crocker

Cyril Crocker, Vice President of Development, brings a deep range of leadership and management experience to the Menkiti Group. From 1999 through 2007, Mr. Crocker served as a Project Manager in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development where he served as the point person for the Deputy Mayor’s office on such projects as the Home Depot and Giant Food Store on Brentwood Road, the New York Avenue Metro Station, and the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Headquarters. He also helped to launch the Home Again program and worked on both the Downtown Residential Tax Abatement program and the Downtown Retail TIF program. During his time in the Deputy Mayor’s office, Mr. Crocker received his certification as a Certified Public Manager and received certifications as a Housing Finance Specialist and as an Economic Development Finance Specialist. Mr. Crocker is a graduate of Villanova University with a BA in Sociology. He is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is also a member of Leadership Washington, Class of ’98.
Mr. Crocker is a native Washingtonian who has lived in Brookland for several years and served as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner from 1996 to 1998.
