Overview
The Menkiti Group has primarily focused on Washington DC's emerging urban markets in general and the Brookland submarket in particular. The development arm of the Menkiti Group has developed over 22,000 square feet of residential and 11,000 square feet of neighborhood commercial property in the Brookland/NE DC submarket over the past two years and currently has another 38,000 square feet under development.
The Menkiti Group is dedicated to increasing the supply of high quality affordable housing in convenient Metro accessible locations throughout the District of Columbia and has a special focus on providing homeownership opportunities to individuals who work in jobs that serve the community (teachers, firemen, police officers, non-profit workers and employees of the District and Federal Government).
